CURRICULUM

Sunrise International Academy is affiliated to CBSE; Affiliation No. 830957. CBSE curriculum is designed to define appropriate approaches of academic activities to provide stress free, child centered and holistic education to all children without compromising on quality.

Our innovative curriculum is designed and developed by a team of early education experts.  We have provided a scientific amalgamation of –

  • The Theory of Multiple Intelligences
  • The Play Way Method
  • Our own tried and tested methodologies

Every child’s uniqueness is celebrated at Sunrise International Academy in the ways they learn, grow, develop self-esteem, and expand their imagination. Every facet of a child’s growth is nurtured through our approach. As a result, we’ve based our curriculum on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory. The Multiple Intelligences theory is based on studies of how we learn when we face challenges and seek solutions.

This hypothesis is based on the idea that we may learn about the universe through eight different “intelligences” or “Smarts.” Each of us is distinct in how we employ each of these intelligences and how we combine them to complete tasks and solve problems.

We have adopted a thematic approach towards learning. The whole curriculum is divided into thematic units that are carefully crafted to engage children in the learning process by offering a variety of lessons and activities surrounding a common theme that is integrated into all content areas.

Special assemblies are conducted through public speaking, theatre, folk dance, song, and role-playing; they are centered on specific subjects such as the ideals of our constitution and are meant to raise awareness about the topic.

Mathematical & Logical skills

The sensory and math materials allow young children to perform complex mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as well as an introduction to geometric shapes and solids. Children engage with concrete materials which enable them to learn otherwise abstract concepts. Your child will receive math lessons sequentially and progress through the curriculum at an individualized pace.

The materials are designed to lead your child step by step from the most concrete representation to pure abstraction.”

Language & Literary

At this age, your child is in the “sensitive period” for language acquisition. Children delight in conversation and begin to associate sounds, symbols, and meaning, which is the foundation of both reading and writing. The integrated classroom is a language-rich environment where your child will develop the love of literature, reading, writing, and expressive communication. This foundation will build strong communication skills, which are critical to your child’s success in life.

Physical & Mental Fitness

The mission of our Physical Education program is to provide students with a safe and positive physical environment while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

Preschoolers participate in a variety of cooperative activities and games which will develop basic loco motor skills and physical ability.

The curriculum is based on the Central Board of Secondary Education. The CBSE envisions a strong, lively, and comprehensive educational system that fosters excellence in all areas of human endeavour. The Board is dedicated to offering high-quality education to its students in order to foster intellectual, social, and cultural vitality. It aims to provide a learning environment and method that will enable future people to become global leaders in the coming knowledge society. In order to hone the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and ethical growth, the teaching technique places equal focus on educational, co-curricular, and extracurricular projects.
